Definitely! There’s so much choice if you have a career in science, and it can take you on so many paths and adventures around the world. A career in science is also usually quite secure and well paid, and especially in some areas like academia, you have a lot of freedom to investigate what you’re interested in.
What you learn at school is often cut into three sections: biology, chemistry, physics. But after school, you find that these subjects overlap, or there’s new bits of science to find out about, from astronomy to zoology. You can really follow your passions with a career in science. 🙂

If it is something you are interested in and enjoy, definitely!
There are such a diversity of jobs in science, there will be a lot of good options to choose from as Heidi says.
