      VERY SLOWLY! That’s for sure (like, billions of years). all points to that.

      no clear answer about how, though. Astrobiologists look into that type of questioning.

      It is still unclear how life evolved from non-living matter (the process is called Abiogenesis…a super-cool word to remember). But some scientists are trying to find out. by doing experiments in the lab where they mix materials under high temperature and pressure and do some electrical sparks and see if some organic material is formed.
