Question: how long have you been interested in science for?

I’ve loved science since I was about 11 years old when I decided I wanted to be an astronaut. I was inspired partly by a family friend who was an astronomer, and also by things like the Beagle 2 lander (a Mars landed which sadly failed) and watching the transit of Mercury in about 2006. After that, I really enjoyed physics and astronomy at school and decided to carry on. 🙂
