• Question: Is doing science experiments always fun?

      Not always. The nature of experiments is that sometimes they don’t work, and that can be very frustrating. You have to persevere and sometimes you have to try lots of different things before you get it right.

      I would say most of the time experiments are not fun, because you are either spending time designing them or putting them together, and then often there are issues when the experiment is not working and something needs to be repaired or changed. But after a lot of hard work, once the experiment actually starts working properly, you can collect valuable data which will eventually (hopefully) give you a scientific result. So the fun part is mostly at the very end of the exercise.
