      Yes, matter and antimatter annihilate to become energy, and then that energy then converts back into matter and antimatter (a process called “pair production” because energy always converts into matter and antimatter in pairs e.g. electron-positron pair, or proton-antiproton pair). This is an everlasting cyclical process.
