      To be a good scientist, you need to have an open mind and allow the results of your experiments to tell you what the correct answer is. Sometimes, the correct answer isn’t what you expect (or what you want!) so it can take a lot of effort to accept evidence that contradicts your beliefs.

      A good scientist is always open to changing their understanding and opinions when new information becomes available.
