      Probably because it’s a shock! Imagine you’re somewhere warm and cosy and safe, and then you get squeezed quite roughly through a fairly narrow tunnel before you emerge somewhere that’s big and cold, and there are more lights and sounds and smells than you knew existed. Anyone would cry!
