Question: Why does our brain think of certain things as beautiful and others as ugly?

That’s a fascinating question. I think the reason depends on what the thing is. For example, there’s clearly an evolutionary advantage to people thinking that babies are cute. I don’t know why we find certain works of art beautiful though – plus, everyone has different opinions about that, so it’s very personal.
