      If the moon and the sun are in the right positions relative to each other, you can sometimes see the bright sunlit part of the moon during the day (on roughly the opposite side of the sky to the sun). The moon is much brighter than anything in the sky except for the sun, so you can sometimes see it if it’s not too close to the sun. This will only work at certain times of the month.
